Four killed in squall in Bengal

Maldah, West Bengal, May 19 (UNI) At least four people were killed and more than 1000 rendered homeless when a squall lashed Manickchak in the district this evening.

Official sources said more than 100 houses were also razed to ground.

District officials rushed to the area for rescue and relief operation.

Details were awaited.
