Fire breaks out in soya plant

Indore, May 19 :A major fire broke out in a soya plant in the city's Lasudia area here this morning.

Fire tenders had been rushed to the spot and efforts were on to contain the blaze, Deputy Inspector General of Fire Services Madhu Kumar Babu said.

There was no report of loss of life he said adding the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.

Thick columns of black smoke was seen emitting from the soya plant.
