Death sentence for quadruple homicide

Betul, MP, May 19 (UNI) A district and sessions court at Multai sentenced a man to death today for a quadruple homicide committed on January 15, 2005.

Additional Judge Anand Mohan Khare awarded the punishment to Sukhdev Nagle while acquitting Patiram and Vasudev even as the court premises were packed with police personnel, lawyers and others.

According to prosecution, the trio targeted Ramesh, his wife Gunta Bai, son Goli and daughter Heera in Dehgud village at 0900 hrs on the fateful day. Nagle voluntarily surrendered at a police station and the other accused were arrested later.
