CWC meet to take stock of performance

New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) The general situation prevailing in the country with its political aspect is likely to come up for consideration, among other issues, in the meeting of the Congress Working Committee to be held here tomorrow, a day before the completion of two years of the UPA Government at the Centre.

''There is no specific, limited or a single agenda for the meeting of the CWC and any issue could be discussed,''Congress Spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here today.

The All Party Hurriyat Conference of Jammu and Kashmir could also figure in the meeting of the CWC, the highest policy making body of the Congress, he said.

A general review of the results of the elections held in four states and the Union Territory of Pondicherry is also likely to take place at the meeting.

The CWC meeting is taking place around the time ahead of the ceremony to mark completion of two years of the UPA Government when senior Ministers of the Government will make a presentation of their performance in the presence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his official residence, Mr Singhvi said.
