CPI(Moist) extremists blow up JMM leader's house
Latehar, May 19 (UNI) CPI(Moist) ultras blew up Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) leader Ramdev Gunju's residence and shot at one person at Kushumtoli Kombey under Chandwa police station in the district last night, the police said today.
Superintendent of police Ravikant Dhan told mediapersons today that about 40 CPI(moist) armed ultras asked the JMM leaders family members to vacate the house before blowing it up with dynamite.
They also injured a truck driver.
However, Mr Gunju was not present during the attack. In the explosion, another house in the nighbourhood was also damaged.
Police arrived at the spot immediately, but could arrest none of the ultras, who fled to the nearby jungles, sources said.
