Court demands evidence against Sadhu Yadav in flood relief scam

Patna, May 19 (UNI) Patna High Court today directed the state Vigilance Bureau to produce material evidences against RJD MP Sadhu Yadav, brother-in-Law of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, in connection with the flood relief scam.

While hearing the anticipatory bail application of Mr Yadav, a single bench comprising Mr Justice Chandramauli Prasad asked the investigating bureau to submit the evidence showing complicity of the MP in the scam.

The Judge observed that the evidence produced by the bureau were at present insufficient to esatablish indulgence of Mr Yadav in the scam.

Advocate General P K Shahi, however, pleaded that the evidence collected by the bureau, indicated clear cut involvement of Mr Yadav in the scam.

The matter would be next heard on May 22.
