Constables and SIs recruitment soon

Hyderabad, May 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh government would soon recruit police constables (PCs) and sub-inspectors (SIs).

Speaking to reporters here, AP Home Minister K Jana Reddy said very soon a notification would be issued for recruitment of 6250 constables in the Armed Reserve (Ar), Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) and Civil forces. As part of special recruitment for Grey Hounds (specially trained force to tackle insurgency) 1179 constables would be recruited. Recently sanctioned 245 constables posts in AR would also be filled, he added.

Referring to SIs, Mr Reddy said 580 SIs would be recruited soon.

Both SIs and constables would be recruited and send for training and be given postings within four months.
