CBI raids MCD Asst Engineer's house

New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) The CBI today raided the premises of an Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Assistant Engineer for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

O P Malik, posted at NaJafgarh, allegedly possesed property worth Rs 30 lakh, according to the CBI.

Searches conducted at his residential premises yielded documents relating to ownership of a Hospital in Prasant Vihar and three residential premises including a three storeyed building in the same locality.

The other two were flats at Rohini and Dwarka.

The accused also possess substantial agricultural land in Sonepat (Haryana).
