BJS conveners for Asom, AP

New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) Bhartiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharati today appointed convenors for the states of Asom and Andhra Pradesh.

According to a party release issued here by its General Secretary Raghunandan Sharma, Mr Chandrakanta Mahanta,former General Secretary of BJP Assam Pradesh,has been appointed convener for Asom while Mr Venugopal Reddy has been appointed convener for Andhra Pradesh.

The Bhartiya Jan Shakti was launched as a new political party by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister on April 30 at Ujjain.
