Anti and Pro-reservationists clash in JNU
New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) Three students received minor injuries when anti and pro-reservation protestors clashed during a procession, at about 2200 hrs at the JNU Campus, said a senior police official.
However, nobody was hospitalised or taken into police custoday, the officer added.
The trouble started after anti-reservationists, under the banner of Youth for Equality, took out a candlelight procession in the campus and came across pro-reservationists who were holdings meeting there.
This led to slogan shouting and later resulted in a clash in which three students were injured.
