Youth killed, pedestrian injured in road accident

Kolkata, May 18 (UNI) A youth was killed and a pedestrian injured when a bus lost control on the VIP road at Raghunathpur under Rajarhat police station in north 24 Parganas today.

Police said the Barasat bound bus lost control and hit the victim, who was riding a bicycle.

The injured pedestrian has been admitted to a local hospital.

People raised blockade on the busy VIP road for a while. Police removed the blockade and sent the body for post mortem.
