Satinder hat-tricks in FCI 7-0 drubbing of BSNL

Chandigarh, May 18 (UNI) A brilliant hat-trick by ebullient Satinder helped Food Corporation of India hand out a 7-0 drubbing to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in the Public Sector Hockey Tournament here today.

It was virtually Satinder vs BSNL throughout the match with the dashing FCI forward scoring the first hat-trick of the tournament in the 13th, 15th and 23rd minutes. He went on to score two more goals in the 41st and 43rd minutes.

Amar Singh Negi (32nd minute) and Johnson (46th) were the other goal scorers for the winners.

In the other high-scoring match of the day, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) thrashed Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) of Andhra Pradesh 8-1.

Amar Aiyappa (4th, 9th, 11th minutes), Pumolik (6th, 10th), Deepak Sharma (12th, 30th) and Ajay Saroya (3rd) scored for BPCL while the face-saving goal for SCCL was scored by B Srinivas in the 29th minute.
