Institute of foreign languages proposed in Nagaland
Kohima, May 18 : In a bid to make Nagaland, India's corridor while implementing Union Government's 'Look East Policy,' the Naga government will set up an institute of Foreign Languages in Kohima.
The intitute would offer courses for graduates in Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Thai languages, besides Tenyidie and Ao and short courses in English.
Nagaland Higher Education Minister Shurhozelie, recently after the state Planning Development Board meeting, said the institute would be set up to make Nagaland the gateway of the 'Look East Policy'.
