Indian businessman in Dubai must be reinstated in association: Court

Dubai, May 18 (UNI) A Dubai court has ruled that a leading businessman ousted from the Indian Association of Dubai (IAD) here following a dispute must be reinstated.

Bharat Kumar Shah, who is also a prominent community worker, was dismissed from the association in June last year.

Shah, an association member for more than a decade, was ousted for protesting against the IAD's alleged move to collect membership renewal fees by not providing receipts.

He had called on the Indians not to be afraid to approach the UAE courts for justice.
