Electronic flight bags on new Jet Airways 777-300ERs

Seattle, May 18 (UNI) Jet Airways today announced an order to install Boeing's class 3 electronic flight bag on 10 new 777-300ERs.

Delivery of the airplanes is set to begin in early 2007. The Boeing class 3 electronic flight bag (EFB) is a multifunctional digital device that essentially serves as a pilot-dedicated computer integrated into the airplane's flight deck.

The EFB, which includes a digital version of traditional flight reference manuals, digitally delivers vital charts and manuals that pilots need to fly an airplane, giving them quick access to a wide range of useful information.
