Concern in R S over seizure of huge quantities of RDX
New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Shiv Sena Member Manohar Joshi today expressed his concern over the recovery of huge cache of arms, including RDX, in three different towns of Maharashtra in the last two weeks.
Raising the issue during the Zero hour, Mr Joshi said over 50 kg of RDX was recovered by the Maharashtra Police in Aurangabad, Manmad and Malegoan and three people were arrested. The police are expecting involvement of more people and have not ruled out more such recoveries, he said.
Maharashtra, he lamented, had emerged as the ''RDX godown'' for the ISI agents and the people will not tolerate such a situation.
''We appreciate the good work of the police and want all the explosive substances to be recovered to make the state and the country safe,'' he said recalling that the serial blasts that shook the country's economic capital in the early 90s required only a portion of the recovered RDX.
They are not sparing even small towns, he added.
