AP Home Minister annouces Rs 10 lakh reward

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy today announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh each to Mumbai and Hyderabad police for apprehending the thieves who made away with jewellery worth Rs ten crore from a newly opened showroom in the Punjagutta area in the city.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Reddy said the Hyderabad Crime Branch had found enough clues to trace the burglars to Mumbai and alerted the Mumbai police accordingly.

He lauded Mumbai and Hyderabad police for unravelling the crime within 24 hours of the incident.
