Writ seeking ownership of Taj Mahal dismissed
Allahabad, May 17 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today dismissed a writ petition seeking right over the of Taj Mahal.
The writ was dismissed with costs to the petitioner.
The bench comprising Justices R P Mishra and R N Mishra, passed the order disposing the writ filed by Begum Taimur Sultan and Mirza Shahabuddin Bux of Varanasi district, who contended that they were heirs of Mughal emperor Shahjahan and therefore entitled for the entire properties of Taj Mahal.
