V J Kurien to take over as Spices Board chairman
Kochi, May 17 (UNI) Mr V J Kurien, Managing Director of Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) has been appointed as the new chairman of Spices Board.
At a press conference here today, Mr Kurien said he will be assuming his new charge shortly.
The Spices Board is headquartered at Kochi.
Mr Kurien succeeds Mr C J Jose, a Gujarat cadre IAS officer, who has been repatriated to his parent cadre following the central deputation as Spices Board chairman.
Mr Kurien will hand over charge to Cochin International Airport Director A C K Nair, who will fill in till the new LDF government in Kerala appoints a new managing director.
