RBI prohibits further FII investment in Ashok Leyland
Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today issued a notification prohibiting FII investment in Ashok Leyland without its prior permission.
The notification said no further purchases of equity shares of The Ashok Leyland should be made on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) through primary and secondary markets in India without obtaining its prior permission following FII investment in the Company reaching the limit of 22 per cent of its paid up capital.
