Hearing on Sujata Nikhalje's bail plea adjourned till June 13

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) The special MCOCA court here today adjourned hearing on the bail application of underworld don Chhota Rajan's wife Sujata Nikhalje, implicated in an extortion case, till June 13.

Special public prosecutor Jimmy Madan today sought time to file a reply on the bail application. MCOCA court judge Abhay Thipsay granted the time and adjourned the matter till June 13.

Sujata Nikhalje was arrested for allegedly demanding Rs 18 lakh from a builder in December last year. Soon after her arrest, Sujata Nikhalje launched a fast in the jail as a protest and she had to be admitted in the government hospital.

In this case, four others, including Chhota Rajan's elder brother Prakash, have been arrested. All the arrested are currently in judicial custody.
