Film Censor Board to decide by tomorrow on release of Da Vinci
New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) The Film Censor Board of India will take a decision on allowing the screening of the controversial movie Da Vinci Code by tomorrow evening and the government will not interfere in this matter, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said today.
The Minister who watched the two-hour long movie along with some Catholic Bishops here, told reporters that the Ministry will not take any decision itself.
It would forward its opinion to the Film Censor Board which would decide on the release of the movie by tomorrow evening, he added.
The Ministry would not interfere because of the sensitivity of the matter, Mr Dasmunsi said.
