Asom ministry to be sworn in tomorrow

Guwahati, May 17 (UNI) The new ministry in Asom will be sworn in tomorrow, even as Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi took oath on Sunday.

According to sources, the ministry would be administered the oath of secrecy and office tomorrow by Governor Lt Gen.(retd) Ajai Singh at the ITA Cultural Centre at 1500 hours.

The ministry was scheduled to be sworn in today, but last minute negotiations delayed it.

The Congress has retained power in the state, emerging as the single largest party in the May 11 poll results. It is leading a coalition government with the support of BPPF(H) and Independent legislators.
