Three members of a family drowned in Ferozepur Feeder Canal

Ferozepur, May 16 (UNI) Three members of a family drowned when a scooter they were riding on fell into a feeder canal on the Ferozepur-Zira road in this district today.

The deceased were identified as Nirmal Singh (46), his wife Harjinder Kaur and their son Arvinder Singh (12).

Police and civil authorities have launched a search to retrieve their bodies from the canal.

The trio were going from Sanda Hassam village to Zira.
