Foundation stone of Lawyers Chamber at Rohini Court on May 18
New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) High Court Chief Justice (Acting) Vijender Jain and Supreme Court judge K Balakrishnan will lay the foundation stone of the 'Lawyers Chamber' at the Rohini Court complex on May 18.
The Rs 28-crore structure, to be built by Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and the Public Works Department (PWD), will have two halls and 498 chambers.
The 8,010 sq metre complex, with 15 floors, will also have parking facility for 200 cars.
Inadequate facilities at the Rohini court was one of the reasons which led to the three-month long strike by lawyers early this year.
