Death toll in Sao Paulo violence rises to 115
SAO PAULO, Brazil, May 16 (Reuters) At least 115 people have been killed since Friday in a wave of violence launched by gangsters in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, security officials said.
The dead included 71 gangsters killed by police and 32 policemen and civil guards, State Civil Police Chief Marco Antonio Desgualdo told a news conference yesterday.
