Sofia, May 15 (UNI) World Chess Champion Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria will take on challenger Azerbaijanian Grandmaster Teimour Radjabov in Baku in 2007 for the world title.

However, the showdown is subject to the 'clash of the titans' match between Topalov and Vladimir Kramnik in September which will decide the undisputed king of the game.

Topalov's manager Silvio Danailov and the Minister of Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov had agreed yesterday on a game for the world title to be held between Topalov and the Azerbaijanian Teimour Radjabov (ELO 2720).

The game will probably take place in April 2007 in Baku. The award money will be 1.5 million dollar, of which 1 million dollar will be for Topalov. According to FIDE rules every chess player with ELO over 2700 can challenge the World Champion in a game for the title.
