Baripada, May 14(UNI) The women Self help groups(SHG) in the tribal -dominated Mayurbhanj district are set to enter a new area of trading of selling LPG cylinders in rural areas.
A scheme in this regard has been mooted by the Orissa Rural Development and Marketing Society(ORMAS) in collaboration with the petroleum companies like HPCL, BPCL and IOC.

The profit earned from sale of LPG cylinders through the 'extension counters' would go to the members of the SHGs managing such counters providing a new avenues for their economic empowerment through trading.
