K'taka to promote traditional medicines in PHCs

Mysore, May 14: Chairman of the Medical Task Force H Sudarshan today said that the state government has decided to promote both Ayurvedic and Naturoparty system of medicines in the Primary Healthcare Centres of the state.

Dr Sudarshan speaking afer realasing Vaidya Vartha a Journal here today he said that even the Central government has allocated three per cent of its budget for the promotion of the traditional systems as more number of side effects are reported in the Allopathy system.

Many Westerners are now shifting to traditional system of medicines including Ayruvedic due their popularity and potentiality in curing the diseases.
