Eye care hospital enters Limca book of records
Coimbatore, May 14 (UNI) The city-based Lotus Eye Care hospital has created a record and entered the Limca Book by organising a five-day International Scientific Opthalmic conference on a luxury cruise ship, 'Superstar Libra'.
Talking to UNI here, hospital Chairman Selva K Sundaramurthy said the conference was an academic, teaching and training centre for the young and practicing Ophthalmologists and their family members. One hundred and sixty Ophthalmic practitioners all over the country with their family members had attended the conference.
He said noted faculty members Dr Andrew Mcnaught (U.K.) Dr Fam (Singapore), Dr Joel Javier (Phillipines), Dr Natarajan (Mumbai), Dr Suhas Halipurkar (Mumbai), Dr Anita Pandey (Delhi), Dr Harbanshlal (Delhi) and Dr (Air Marshal) Boparai had presented their papers.
Dr Sundaramurthy said that he has presented a paper on zyoptix integrated epilasic, which combined two superior technologies in the world.
The Ophthalmologists had derived technology professionally and focused their attention all over the world, he added.
