Two militants among 4 killed, 2 ultras surrendered in J and K

Srinagar, May 13 (UNI) Four persons, including 2 militants, were killed while two ultras surrendered in the Jammu and Kashmir overnight, official sources said.

An encounter took place between militants and security forces at village Hadigam Kulgam in south Kashmir district of Anantang last evening, they said.

Two militants were killed and a soldier was injured in the 2-hour-long encounter.

A couple of AK rifles and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.

Militants shot dead a surrendered ultras Mushtaq Ahmad Dhobi at Panzan Chandoora in the central district of Budgam last night.

Militants shot dead one Ghulam Hussain at village Gugal Hard Ril in Doda district.

Two militants surrendered along with two self loaded rifles at Gandoh in Doda District, the sources said.
