TDP's 'Chargesheet' on Cong Govt
Hyderabad, May 13 (UNI) The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today released a 40-page 'Chargesheet' posing 42 questions to Congress Government and highlighting its alleged failure in fulfilling election promises during its two-year rule in the state.
Releasing the 'Chargesheet' at the party office here, TDP Senior Leader T Devendar Goud charged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy with failure to complete eight irrigation projects in two years as promised during the elections and making new promises without fulfilling those given already.
Accusing it of lack of accountability, he said the government was not responding to the questions posed by the TDP on alleged irregularities during award of irrigation project works to contractors.
Mr Goud also alleged Dr Reddy was spending more time touring the state on a chopper rather than studying the problems faced by the poor in villages.
