Sub-Junior Women's Hockey in B'lore from May 17

Bangalore, May 13 (UNI) The venue of the 18th Sub-Junior Women's National Hockey Championship has been shifted to Bangalore from Hassan.

In a release here today, Event Organiser Karnataka State Women's Hockey Association said the Championship would be held in the city from May 17 to 23.

The matches would be played on league-cum-knockout basis. A total of six matches would be played everyday during the league phase.

Twenty one teams from across the country had confirmed their participation, the release added.
