Shagun Chowdhury creates National Record, finishes 24th in World C

New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) Shagun Chowdhary created a new national record but still finished 24th in the women's trap event of the World Cup at Kerrville in the US.

She shot a score of 61 with a series of 21, 20 and 20 to for a new National Record in the process.

Seema Tomar finished 36th with a score of 53 (19,15,19), according to information revceived here today.

The Gold in this event was won by Mei Zhu of China with a score of 89 (72+17), the Silver wnt to Theresa Dewitt of USA with 88 (71+17) while Susanne Kiermayer of Germany won the Bronze with a score of 86 (66+20).
