MP wilts under blistering heat
Bhopal, May 13 (UNI) The temperature soared to 45 degrees Celsius in three cities across Madhya Pradesh today even as many parts of the state sweltered in blistering heat.
Meteorological department said Gwalior, Sheopur and Khajuraho were the hottest place with the temperature at a sizzling 45 degrees Celsius.
The state capital recorded a maximum of 42.5 degs, two notches above normal, while corresponding figure at other places were: Indore (41.4), Rewa (41.5) and Jabalpur (43).
The department forecast drizzle at some places in Rewa and Sagar divisions in next 24 hours. The temperature in the state capital is expected to be around 42 degs tomorrow.
