Man attacked by monkey dies in hospital

Akola, May 13 (UNI) A man who was attacked by a monkey died in the hospital here yesterday, hospital sources today said.

Chadrahas Murai, an assitant engineer of Paras Thermal Power Station who was attacked and pulled down twelve-feet from the terrace of his house, succumbed to brain injuries he sustained due to the fall on April 15.

Murai had gone to his terrace to chase the monkey away, when it attacked and pulled him down.

After battling for nearly 28 days in the hospital since his fall from his terrace, Murai, who had slipped into a coma, died yesterday, hospital sources added.
