JSCA election to be held tomorrow under tight security

Bokaro, May 13 (UNI) The high profile Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) elections will be held under strict security arrangments here tomorrow.

The election generated interest as state Home Minister Sudesh Mahto has been pitted against the present incumbment president of JSCA Inspector General of Police Amitabh Choudhury.

The state had never witnessed such a high profile election of earstwhile Bihar Cricket Association(BCA) in the past, which has been rechristened as JSCA.

The JSCA has sought adequate security arrangments from the district administration during election at Kala Kendra, where election would be held.

Official sources said security has been beefed up and about 450 policemen have been deployed at Kala Kendra.

No unauthorised persons would be allowed to enter the election centre.

Even the bodyguards of the candidates would not be allowed inside the election centre, sources said.

All the 602 members of the Association have arrived in the steel city.
