ATS with Delhi police search for LeT
Ahmedabad, May 12: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat is in constant touch with its counter part in New Delhi to work in tandem with it as Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) has planned to target some places in Gujarat.
ATS Deputy Inspector General (Gujarat) D G Vanzara told that the LeT operatives who were nabbed by the Delhi police from Nizamuddin railway station May 8 has disclosed this to them.
Mr Vanzara told UNI that one of those arrested operatives hails from minority dominated area of Ahmedabad.
He said these operatives and many arrested by Gujarat ATS have disclosed that they had planned to target many places in Gujarat.
This is really a cause for concern for the Gujarat police.
A team of Delhi police is likely to visit Gujarat, particularly Ahmedabad city soon, to further investigate on the LeT opeative who hails from Ahmedabad city.
