Girl raped by father

Guna, MP, May 13 (UNI) An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by his father in Ashoknagar district's Mungawali Nagar, police said today.

Mungawali SHO Praveen Asthana said the accused perpetrated the sexual assault with his daughter, who was playing, in drunken state. His three-year-old son was present at the time of the incident.

On returning home, the accused's wife found her daughter lying in a pool of blood. The man admitted committing the crime before his wife, who handed him over to police.
