GCA to award scholarship to needy junior cricketers

Panaji, May 13 (UNI) Goa Cricket Association (GCA) will give scholarship upto Rs 12,000 to needy junior cricketers who have represented Goa in the U-13, 15&U-17 cricket tournaments for the year 2005-06.

BCCI Vice-Presisent D G Narvekar has appealed to all the ckicket players falling under this scheme to avail the opportunity.

GCA Secretary Chetan Desai in a release issued here today said the deadline for application to scholarship was June 15.
