BJP demands white paper on Congress achievement

Tirupati, May 13 (UNI) The BJP today demanded the release of a white paper on the achievements of the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh on the completion of it's two-year rule in the state.

Addressing a press conference, BJP Assembly floor leader Mr Kishanreddy alleged that the Rajasekhara government had failed to fulfil the aspirations of the people in the last two years on all fronts.

The government was '' commission ruling '', and from top to bottom, the Congress government was indulging in corruption in allocating tenders for irrigation projects, he said. He added, during the last two-year congress rule, their party cadres only benefitted from the projects. But the government had not completed a single irrigation project, he alleged.

He also alleged that the government had failed to ensure adequate power supply to the farmers and also failed in all welfare schemes including scholarships to backward caste students and minimum support price to the farmers.

The Congress government had indirectly imposed user charges in hospitals after banning such charges imposed by the Telugu Desam Party earlier, he said.

The BJP will chalkout a plan to organise agitations against the Congress government's failures, he pointed out.
