New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) Strongly condemning the grenade attack on the BJP rally at Doda, party president Rajnath Singh today said that senior party leader L K Advani would leave for Doda tomorrow to assess the situation there.

Mr Singh said that he himself would go to Doda on Monday to attend a protest rally organised by the party. Both of them would also visit the hospitals where the injured had been admitted.

Describing the attack as ''aimed at driving out Hindus from the border areas,'' the party also decided to launch a nationwide agitation for national integration, keeping in view the ''sensitive situation'' arising out of the recent Doda and Udhampur killings.

The party has set up a committee comprising former Human Resource Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi, Mrs Sushma Swaraj, Mr Anant Kumar, Mr Sanjay Joshi, Mr Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Mr Chaman Lal and Mr Dharmendra Pradhan to give final touches to the proposed agitation plan.

The committee is expected to give its report next week.

Talking to newspersons, Mr Singh said that they learnt about the grenade attack on the BJP rally in which two persons were killed and 57 injured, four of them grieviously, when its office-bearers meeting was in progress.

The meeting was attended, among others, by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mr Advani.
