ABBSS's 18th National Conf in B'lore
Bhopal, May 13: The two-day 18th National Conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Bhasha Sahitya Sammelan's (ABBSS) will begin in Bangalore on June 15.
The National Council -- under the patronage of National President Shanta Veer Mahaswamiji -- will amend the constitution for opening a new branch in Japan besides electing its national executive, an ABSS release said here yesterday.
The Sammelan shall discuss about changing the name of Hindi to Bharti besides finalising resolution on language and reservation policies, ABBSS secretary general S C Chaturvedi stated in the release.
Besides, a national symposium on topics such as 'Neglect of National Languages', 'Devnagri script and national integration' and 'Development of Kannada literature and its contribution to national literature' will be organised, the release added.
