49 hurt in road accident in Kerala

Malappuaram, Kerala, May 13 (UNI) Fourty Nine people were injured, two of them seriously, when a state owned bus collided with a mini-bus at Pookkottur here today.

According to police, the mishap occured when a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus proceeding to Palakkad from Kozhikode collided with the mini-bus coming from kozhikode.

The victims were admitted to a near by hospital and the Kozhikode Medical College, the police added.
