2 govt officials injured in naxalite blast

Jagdalpur, May 13 (UNI) Two government officials were injured in a landmine blast triggered by naxalites at Bijapur Gangalur road in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, police said today.

PWD sub-engineer L P Patel and PWD time-keeper Pannalal Singh were heading towards construction site for inspection when the incident occurred.

Both were admitted to hospital in Bijapur. Pannalal was stated to be in serious condition.

Police have rushed to the spot.
