Voters have rejected Cong policies: Naidu
Tirupati, May 12 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu said the election results for five state Assemblies showed the voters rejected Congress polices.
Speaking to newsmen here yesterday, Mr Naidu also ruled out forming a third front and said ''I only proposed a government at the Centre by non-Congress and non-BJP forces.'' In the wake of reported 'overtures' by the state government to 'manipulate' the reorganisation of the MPTCs in the run-up to the panchayat elections, Mr Naidu alleged the Congress Government was not serious on holding the polls in a democratic manner.
His party had no option but to approach the court over the alleged irregularities in the finalisation of MPTCs.
The party would also observe dharnas and rallies all over the state against the Congress' attitude towards the elections.
