Two killed, 7 injured in road mishap

Shahjahanpur, May 12 (UNI) Two people were killed and seven others injured when a speeding jeep dashed against a tree here today.

Police said the victims were en route to Ayodhya from Haryana this afternoon when the accident occurred on Sitapur-Shahjahanpur highway.

Those killed included the jeep driver. They were yet to be identified.

The injured were later taken to hospital.
