NSIC technology business incubator to be dedicated to the nation

New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) Minister for Small Scale and Agro Rural Industries Mahavir Prasad will be dedicating the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and a display centre of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to the nation at a simple function held here on May 17.

According to a NSIC release issued here today the object of this TBI is to create sustainable enterprenuership development in the area of information technology especially for the first generation entreprenuers.

It would also work for nurturing the innovative ideas to commercially viable business prepositions, encouraging commercialisation of Research and Development (R and D) outputs into commercial ventures, harness the expertise of NSIC in extending hand to start up companies to become successfull SSI entreprenuers and networking between R and D and industry.

The display centre will exhibit more than 3000 industrial products free of cost with a sectoral display keeping in view their potential in the international market, the release added.
