India Cements to set up cement plant in Shimla

Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) Cement major India Cements Ltd has planned to set up a cement plant at Himachal Pradesh, the company informed the BSE today.

India Cements has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to this effect with the Government of Himachal Pradesh for setting up the cement plant in Shimla district.

The project will have to be implemented within five years from the date of the Memorandum of Understanding, the company said.
