Himachal for private sector participation in education
Shimla, May 12 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has invited private sector participation in development and expansion of educational infrastructure in the state.
Presiding over a function of School of Legal Studies in the Himachal Pradesh University campus here yesterday, the Chief Minister said the government would welcome reputed educational organisations to come forward in establishing centres of excellence in the state.
The government was making serious endeavour to make Himachal a ''knowledge state and an educational hub''.
Mr Singh said the government would not allow teaching shops to come up in the state and verify the bonafides of the institutions willing to invest in the state.
